Epilogue v2? Help us with a little beta test!
|
|
I need you to help us test some new software that has the potential to be a base for a totally revamped Epilogue!
We've partnered with ArtStudy.org to create an art portfolio section on their site in order to help us test a version of the software we plan on integrating into Epilogue. But we need to put it through its paces a bit before we can make a decision if it will work for the Epilogue community.
Here's what I need of you (its quick and easy):
1) Head over to Artstudy.org and create an account
2) Upload some artwork (10-15 images would be ideal - any genre/medium)*
3) Test the artwork management tools

The Killer Portfolio - Part 2: Revenge of the Killer Portfolio
What is an artist statement/biography? Where do I get slides? How do I put it all together? These are important things to know about a portfolio.
The Killer Portfolio - Part 1
Every fresh and sparkling artist faces the same problems when starting out: where to start? what to do?--who to schmooze? The only place to start is in your studio creating art, doing whatever you want to do. But artists need people who will pay money for their stuff.
My Favorite PhotoShop Features and Tricks - Part 2
In the final installment of Photoshop tips and tricks, Patrick continues with a few more of favorites tricks and shares some great ideas sent in by readers.
My Favorite PhotoShop Features and Tricks - Part 1
In this two-part article, Patrick presents some of the hidden gems he's found over the years that help him work in PhotoShop more efficiently.
Ask an Editor - Socar Myles
The Epilogue editors can't answer for the entire illustration industry, of course, but we can give you a head start by letting you in on how we make our decisions. In each Ask an Editor article, one of our editors will tackle a rejected image, explaining exactly why it didn't make the grade, and offering suggestions for improvement.
The Fantasy Artist?s Guide to eBay - Part 2
In the last issue, Socar covered the the process of listing your fantasy art for auction on eBay. That's not the end of the story, though!
The Fantasy Artist?s Guide to eBay - Part 1
The prospect of selling art on eBay can seem very daunting to a beginner: is it a good idea to set a Buy It Now price? What about a reserve? Is it better to open an eBay store and run long-term fixed-price auctions, or avoid the monthly shop fee in favour of individual listings? And what sells best--originals or prints? Socar Myles presents a walk-through aimed at fantasy artists.
