If you have a tutorial you would like to submit, please review the following instructions. Tutorial guidelines are posted at the bottom of the page.

How to Submit your Tutorial
Please send all files (text/html and images, compressed in .zip format for PC) to technique@epilogue.net. Be sure to include:

  • Your name (you deserve credit!)
  • Epilogue username (this will allow us to link to your gallery)
  • Skill Level of tutorial (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)
  • Tutorial title (i.e. "How to create realistic flesh tones")
  • A brief description of the tutorial (one or two sentences will suffice)

Submission Guidelines


We will accept walk-through tutorials (various stages of a finished artwork) as well as specific techniques (creating realistic skin tones, for example).

Walk-through Tutorial

  1. Should be fantasy/sci-fi/anime in theme and meet the standard submission guidelines for artwork
  2. Should contain well-written, descriptive text for each stage of the artwork
  3. Steps should be numbered (Step 1, Step 2, Step 3, etc.)
  4. Should have high quality pictures of each stage of the artwork
  5. Provide link to the finished artwork in your Epilogue gallery, if applicable

Specific Technique

  1. Should contain well-written, descriptive text of the technique
  2. Should have high quality pictures of each stage of the technique
  3. Provide link to the finished artwork in your Epilogue gallery, if applicable

Text format guidelines

  1. Should be plain text (.txt), MS Word (.doc) or HTML (.html)
  2. Check your spelling and grammar
  3. Text should be descriptive, yet concise

Image format guidelines

  1. MUST be .jpg or .gif
  2. Each image should be no larger than 30k
  3. Images should be no larger than 550 pixels in width
  4. Image should be named according to it's corresponding step (1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg, etc)

**The same Epilogue quality requirements apply to all submitted tutorials. The Editors have the final say as to whether or not a tutorial gets posted.
