Artwork Description

This was inspired by Rosetti. She's supposed to be cold (but not evil) sorceress type.

She's a little creepy. Love the folds in the dress.

Don't know why I don't get to your page more often! This is a nifty piece, with colors fitting the mood of the character just right.

The arms are well done, and yhe expression in the eye -- definately a pre-Raph element but also a sort of Victorian-gothic feeling.

The colorwork here is really, really nice...it has an old-fashioned flavor to it, which makes her seem frail and unchangable, like antique paper.

But most of all...I love those folds.

Yeah, she looks grumpy. Like she's waiting for some thing and getting impatient. I love the cloth on her gound, great job of that. It's also a pretty good scan, you did a good job of croping.

Art at its best.
