Artwork Description

I thought the power of the space shuttle take-off and the baby made a nice juxtaposition. I wanted the wall to give it a mundane space and the astronomic mobil shadow to suggest the source of this imagining.

Is the work of the same Scott Wade who does the beautiful dust art on car windshields? Awesome work, truly beautiful in any medium he touches!! I am a fan!! Dixie Davis

I see it more like:
"Space travel is still in childhood"

These things just take on a life of their own, don't they? The tension between the rocket and the baby captivated me as I painted it. I appreciate the evaluation as "clever." One of my friends says "sick."

He almost looks a little concerned (the baby's a "he" to me, heh)...thanks for pointing out the space mobile-shadow, I don't think I would've caught that immediately, and it's a really clever touch.
Heck, this whole image is clever!

BTW, Maura "Raven in the Moonlight" is really enchanting.

Thank you, Leo. That's a great compliment from such a fine oil painter.
I've been looking at your gallery and your work is superb. The giant octopus is one of my favorite pieces on Epilogue!

It is pretty bizarre. Thanks, Mark!

This picture is really inventive. The "brushwork" has the softness and consistency of oil paint. I'm really impressed!
