Artwork Description

My depicition of the celtic goddess of battle and fertility, The Morrigan. She was often described as changing forms, and one of them was that of a hooded (or carrion) crow.

Oil pastels in Painter.

It's nice to see a morrigon picture where she's 1) a beautiful woman in a beautiful setting or 2) surronded by corpses. A lovely piece of work. Very smooth.

Nice feel to this. Quiet & spooky.

I like the mood and atmosphere. You achieve really subtle tones that I hope to achieve in my future works. The wings are rendered nicely too. Many artist cannot depict the complexity of wings accurately enough. Here it is done very well!

This is truly magnificent. Fine work for the character, i just love the colours of her. And the celtic knot work on the shield is really impressive..But the background is equal to the task aswell, a fine misty/rainy morning...most impressive work jennifer ^^.
