Artwork Description
Here's an illustration of the goddess of animals, hunting, childbirth, virginity and a host of other wonderful things. She's hanging out with one of her favourite deer, the Ceryneian Hind. Which, in spite of being female, has antlers made from solid gold! I assume she doesn't shed them, but I could be wrong. No real story here, except that this deer was persued for a year and captured by Herakles without harming it as one of his 12 labours.

Excellent work!
have you ever wondered how she could be a goddess of both childbirth and virginity?
great work
Beautiful, Surreal.
I have no idea why more people haven't commented on this. I think this is a beautiful piece. I love the way the light shines off the antlers. Very nice work!

I'm suprised no one has commented on this. It's very breath-taking. Artemis is very well done and so is the Hind. The composition is good, too. Great job!
