An illustration for my book's 4th part.

In dark world of Nezca, Raeson and his spirited friend Roshi come face to face with a wild dragni, who's not at least happy to see them.
Hope you enjoy it. made it in about 3 h in Photoshop.

That is a delicious atmosphere. Great composition, too.

Thank you Emily for such praise.. To be honest, not all my speedies come out so great. It takes a certain amount of cerotonin and rush of adrenaline to produce the image so effectively without thinking or stressing about it too much. That is an area I wanna learn to handle more, since I just love making speedies. So no worries, I keep on doing them a long time for sure! Smile

thanks Carlos! Yeah I had to actually hurry this scene up to make it fit to the book's website to give a sense about what kind of enormous beasts are lurking in parts of the unuverse we have no idea about. Glad it turned out aight Tongue

I hope you realize how incredibly good your speedpaintings are...your other painting 'Brave One' is one of my favourite pieces in Epilogue and i've seen my fair share of concept art. This newest addition gives just as must information and atmosphere as any 'finished' artwork keep doing them!!!

Very powerful piece. The sense of depth is such that the creature does look gigantic and menacing indeed. Very well done.
