Artwork Description
The general has been the source for many headaches, concerning his helmet... but he is one of my favorites so I thought I'd share him anyhow. NO tortoise was harmed for this piece, but an actual carapace was utilized.

Awww i love himmmm : ) i love his little hat and the braid in his hair. FANTASTIC JOB JILL!
Jill ... My jaw hit the floor when I came across your art and I'm an artist and just learning to sculpt. You REALLY need to put out a photo book with all of your work in it. THEY ARE SOOOOOOOOO AMAZING!!! I've never seen the great detail in faces before and your eyes aren't just stuck in the clay... they're alive and turning and looking and peering!!! You need to do some workshops to... I'll be your FIRST book buyer and workshop attendee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GREAT WORK!!!
It's like real, i like your work it's amazing!!!
I was on your website and it's real good!!!
When you post to your website more dolls?

You're too kind! Thanks so much!
HA! I couldn't remember who they were and had to look them up.. too funny! Nope not offended, but I wonder what the link is... hmmm....
Well thanks so much Matt... I don't know what to say!
O ok heres a full view. Great detail I'm sure you hear that all the time but it is.
Well I've seen your work and I have to admit that it is absolutely fantastic!! But... For a strange reason I cant yet explain...it reminds me characters of Asterix and Obelix *blinks* Hope thats not offensive in any way
Words cannot describe the talent you have, welldone. Wish I was as talented as you.
Matt
Thanks so much
well from this angle it looks it.. ya gotta see it from a higher vantage point but he's just a grumpy old fart. hehe
Wowwowwow - another stunner!
Is he pouting? I like his posture.
Wow! Thanks so much Frank! *blushing* a queen! You're too much! I'm so glad you like my work!
Jill, you are a Queen! Your work is really amazing to behold. You really go all out with the detail and breathe such splendid life into your creations. Are you sure you didn't find these guys loitering in your backyard? I'm having a tough time whitling down all that i want to say about your art (and where) but I'll condense by saying Thank you so much for sharing. i am now a fan for life.
Thanks! I'll try!
THIS PICE OF WORK IS GRATE KEEPUP THE GOOD WORK
AH, I love that movie too! Hoggle I believe is the name, oh, he was awsome! Thanks so much!
YES! I love crochety! Thanks for the lovely comments, *chuckle*
Thanks! I think I have a magic camera... because honestly I'm not a great photographer, but the pics seem to turn out well. Anyhow, Thankyou!
I do sell all my pieces, but unfortunately all these posted here are already sold. If anyone is interested I do have a mailing list where I send out heads up when I have a new piece available...
Thanks for your interest, though, I think your idea would be too cool...LOL
You are my new hero. Really. Wonderful, wonderful work...so imaginative.
Are any of your creations for sale? I'd love to sneak up to my dad's ranchette and place one of these amongst the trees for him to find by surprise!! What great work you do.
damn good ! it looks real nice.
It looks like he is realy moving.
nice photography of him
Oh! He's a crotchety little fellow, isn't he? Beautifully done. His nails and his warts are so perfect, the stubbly texture of his chin...so ugly he's adorable!
OOOH!...Looks like the little fella from Labyrinth...One of my favorite movies of all time...he has a lot of character...somehow I'm hearing the utterance: "hmph" coming from his mouth...like he's sure that you're sure that he knows better;)
hehe... thank you!
LOL, Oh Rebecca, you flatter me so!
Oh wow! I'm very flattered as Henson is one of my favorites! *chuckle* I'd love to see the general animated, wouldn't that just be too funny! Although I picture him as more of an 'utterer' I'm sure he'd have plenty to say under his breath!
Wow he's beautiful. He looks so real and reminds me of the the great Jim Henson. i'd love to see him talk, i wonder what he'd say.
