Artwork Description

Mnemosyne, the goddess of memory and controller of time, was the daughter of Uranus (Heaven) and the Gaea (Earth).
This picture is another work of mine taken from a series of pictures that I am making of goddesses and 'femmes fatales'.

....Mouth is open.....eyes as big as I can hardly find the words to describe how beautiful this is. i am going to copy what Ms. Amy said "Very easy on the eyes." The hair is gorgeous, the flowers look real, and the bird looks as if it will fly out of the page at any given moment. In the words of Bruce Almighty, "B-E-A-utiful!"

AAAAAAAAH! SHE's A REDHEAD!!! I'M A REDHEAD! WE'RE REDHEADS! I am always so excited to see redheads, since the world is dominated by blondes and brunettes!! (No offence, you guys are beautiful too!) I love the flow of her hair and the expression on her face and the bird is adorable! KEEP IT UP!!!

Thank you Amy! The medium was simply graphite pencil on paper with highlights made with white gouache. The picture was then scanned and colored using Photoshop.

She is stunningly beautiful. The colors are so vibrant, and soft. Very easy on the eyes. I love it. What medium did you use for this?

Art at its best.
